AR toy train

AR toy train is a project exploring tracking and dynamic occlusion of the ZED device from stereolabs. We were willing to enhance our virtual camera by adding a mobile solution, giving artists the possibility to use it wherever they want without having to visit on our lab space. Although the device is impressive, it was suffering from tracking drifts and the presence of moving objects or humans were emphasizing the inaccuracy. I developed all of the application but the 3D model of the train. I procedurally generated the rail to dynamically adjust the space between doors. I also developed a system to capture lights from a GoPro and apply it with shadows inside Unity (the feature was dropped because it didn't adapt well to any environment). A 360 camera was also used to apply real-world reflection to materials.
